SSRA National Squash League 2008

The NSL 2008 season will commence soon. We are considering forming 2 D teams and 1 F team. The only difference this year is that we are trying to field the same D team (less the young man Frank Foo) in the masters grade.

We are still short of a F grade captain. Appreciate if someone can volunteer to steer the F team for this year.

Here is the latest grading list for our players this year:

Ladies & Gents,

Men D grade team facing off Spore Cricket Club for its first match this Tuesday 26th Feb, at SCC, 6.30 pm. All available supporters presence requested as your good players are gonna need it ;-)

Ah, the D team got off to an uninspiring start on Tues night. Losing 1-3 to the Cricket Club.
Solitary point came from, of all players, the fast improving Frank Foo - who was playing F grade last year! What a buaya! His 'ahem' elderly opponent couldn't handle his skill, agility, and colourful clothes... must remember we played at SCC... everyone else wore white ;-)
Number 1 Felix surely didn't play to form. In fact, looked like Felix left his fitness, pace, shots (just about everything else) at home. Brought his appetite for beer and dinner though, but only useful after the match. Felix went down tamely 0-3 to his lady opponent!
Eric Yeow and Kalidas fought for their lives and their 0-3 scorelines does not do justice to the tough, close games.

next week, see you all at our club, as we take on United Condo at SIA Sports Club, 630pm start, Tuesday 04March.

Cheerios,
felix
