Condition of the squash courts:
It was reported that the delay was caused by the arguments between the main architect, the contractor, and the subcontractor, as to who should foot the bill for the repair. Basically looking at improving the water-tight situation for 3 affected walls of each court. My point was, whilst they negotiate, we endure. Club has agreed that it affects us and is negative.
So, the Property and Facilities comm has opened a tender - decision sometime this coming week - to go ahead with the repairs. Then charge to the appropriate party in the end. At least we get the situation fixed first. We can expect the courts will be closed a about a week for this rectification in the coming month.
Good news eh?

The visitors for the pre season warm up also said it was such a pity to have new courts and let them deteriorate until such a state.
Hopefully the club get it done right this time round and the league teams can look forward to a second half of the season with good home courts. -
