This year's WAST in Dubai is ON ;-) Hosted by our friends from Emirates. Take advantage of the low USD for a week-long squash-shopping-drinking-partying get-away. and make new friends along the way.
Itinerary details is simple;

Monday 24 October Morning and Afternoon Round robin matches, lunch included
Tuesday 25 October Morning and Afternoon Round robin matches, lunch included

Ibis Al Barsha is conveniently located in the new leisure and business districts of Dubai, just minutes from the Mall of Emirates, Madinat Souk, Wild Wadi and Jumeirah Beach, Media & Internet City. The hotel is only 25 km from Dubai International Airportand Jebel Ali free zone. It offers 480 comfortable, cozy and modern rooms, a restaurant, a cafe and two bars. WIFI internet access is available both in the rooms and at the lobby. Ideal choice for leisure and business travelers.
* Looks like most evenings are free for roaming around, taking in the cosmopolitan city delights and shopping.
Cost:
Team fee of USD 150
Individual fee of USD 270 or equivalent AED 990/participant
(covers all Squash Court fees, Transportation to-from Tournament Hotel for squash and WAST activities, Opening and Closing Night functions with dinner and alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages, Lunch and Beverages (no alcohol) on all squash playing days, Mid WAST function (lunch and beverages both alcoholic and non alcoholic), Welcome Kit)
Hotel AED 135/person/night twin share basis, to include breakfast and free internet at all lobby areas.
* 6 nights = AED 810/person.
Total per participant approx AED 1800 for the individual fee and hotel. At approx SGD 1 = AED 3. AED 1800 approxs SGD 590
*** This is less than SGD100/day! *** although, it includes dinners only for opening and closing functions ....
The Squash Committee will present a budget for club's support, and given that we are winners from last year's WAST, can anticipate up to 80% sponsorship.
Note that this does not include tickets and the usual surcharges. Usually, air tickets can be company sponsored, but surcharges are our own.
